1/5 of 25 means that we divide 25 into 5 EQUAL parts, then take one of those parts as our answer. If we divide 25 into 5 equal parts (any method is fine here) than we take 5 groups of 5s. We take one of those groups of 5, and the value of that one group is 5, so our answer is 5.
