The formula for slope of a line is:
m = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)
Let's take the points (0, 5) and (1, 8).
m = (8 - 5)/(1 - 0)
m = (3)/(1)
m = 3
The slope of the table is 3.
