[tex]\begin{cases}y=3x+4 \\ y=2x+8\end{cases}\rightarrow3x+4=2x+8\rightarrow3x-2x=4\rightarrow x=4[/tex]

having that x=4, we get that

[tex]y=2\cdot4+8=16[/tex]
