Explanation:

The path of reflex arc is as following

Receptor > Sensory neuron (afferent) > Interneuron > Motor neuron (efferent) > Effector organ (muscle or glands).

 When our motor neuron is impaired, the impulses are sent, but if our motor neuron is damaged, we can not get input through the sensory neuron and the interneuron.
